Hey guys! I was able to try out new products this month and some of them became my new favorites so I wanted to share them with y’all! I’ll be posting the links to the products as well as the link to my July Favorites video.
This summer I had to make a very tough decision… To grow out my eyebrows or not to grow out my eyebrows. I knew that the summer would be the perfect time to grow them out, but I also knew it wasn’t going to be pretty. The last time I got them done was May 3rd and now it’s currently middle of July and I am ITCHING to go back to Orlando to visit my brow lady and get them threaded! But for now, I have learned how to clean up my brows with concealer so that the growing hairs are barely visible! Watch this makeup tutorial to see how I cover them up!
I have collected a few items over the past month and wanted to share them with y’all! MOST IMPORTANTLY this month I discovered FashionNova.com! They always have discount codes if you’re following their Instagram and their clothes are already really affordable! As you guys might know, I am obsessing over bodysuits right now
As you guys might know, I am obsessing over bodysuits right now. I have always been into the ‘tuck your shirt in’ look and bodysuits just make it easier and less bumpy! I have found bodysuits that are incredible quality and are around $20! I also show you guys some other apparel and beauty too! Direct links are below!
Hey guys! It is Prom and Formal season and I’m excited to shared a makeup tutorial perfect for these events! In the past, my prom makeup tutorials have been the most viewed videos on my channel so I thought it was only fitting to make another one since you all loved the others! As the years go on, my makeup techniques get better and better so it is really interesting to see the differences in the past videos (Prom 2014 Video, Prom 2015 Video).
This year I have linked all the products so that it is super easy for you all to achieve this look!
Whenever I go back to school I always have to get some back up makeup products to stick in my back pack for the school day! I didn’t want to spend too much money on my makeup survival kit, but I still wanted the products to be high quality. I have heard about Essence and even used their eyeshadows for prom makeup looks, but never really got to try their most popular products!
I wanted to share these products with you all because the fact that they are affordable and high quality blows my mind!
This is the 2 in 1 eyeliner pen. It has a thin and thick felt tip liner which is convenient because you could use it for a more natural look or a glam look! This reminds me of the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner.
This is the Make Me Brow. This is an exact dupe for Gimme Brow by Benefit, but way cheaper! I love this product for when I don’t have time to fill them in, I just take the spooly and comb it through my brows and it makes them appear fuller.
This is one of their Liquid Lipsticks! It doesn’t dry to a full matte which I personally like because it is not as drying as a lot of other brands!
Essence is conveniently available for purchase at Target.com and select Target stores nationwide! Essence Cosmetics is known for their high-quality products which average to about $3.50 or less. These products are perfect for restocking your makeup bag just in time to go back to school. From everyday basics to wear to class to on-trend colors to rock at formal, essence has everything you need to make this school year even more beautiful!

Unfortunately, my #HowToSororities series is about to come to an end. I have been getting an amazing responses from this content so I will definitely be continuing this series next fall! I wanted to include a makeup tutorial that is natural but will not melt in the heat of recruitment!
If you already know a lot about makeup and just want to hear some quick recommendations then watch this video!
But if you don’t wear makeup very often or don’t even know where to start, I filmed a full face makeup tutorial to walk you through the steps to achieve a natural look! By natural, I don’t mean a simple routine with BB Cream and mascara, I do use quite a bit of products! If you’re interested in seeing a more in-depth video, click here!
I woke up this morning wanting to give my skin a little extra love!
First, as always, I cleansed my face with the Deep Pore Daily Cleanser using my Clarisonic! This is my favorite part of my routine because it makes my skin feel refreshed and firm.
Since I was feeling extra, I decided to put on a sheet mask, I know I know… this one says to use it at 10 pm, but it was the only sheet mask I had around. I have recently fallen in love with sheet masks because instead of most face masks that dry out your skin, these have moisturizing properties and leave your face glowing!
After I take the mask off and rinse my face, I go in with my 5 in 1 Face Cream from First Aid Beauty! This one is perfect to incorporate into your summer skin care routine because it has SPF in it!
Lastly, I put on my Rosebud Salve lip balm! I have been using this specific container since Valentine’s day and only half of it is gone which is very surprising!

I have tried this braid out multiple times before and failed! I thought it might have been because my hair is extremely thick and it was weighing down on the bobby pins, but yesterday when I attempted this braid again, it was so much different and I really believe that it was because my hair was extra dirty! Since my hair had some texture to it, it held up much better in the bobby pins and never felt like it was about to fall out!
I think this hair style is so unique that you can pair it with any outfit and let it be the star of the show! I received so many compliments about my hair and one lady even asked who did my hair and I humbly replied, “Me!”
Let me know if you guys want a tutorial on this hairstyle!
