Hey y’all! I uploaded a Boohoo Try On Haul and wanted to make a blog post with the links to all the outfits. But I also wanted to give a little review on Boohoo as a whole. If you go on Boohoo.com you might think it looks like one of those scam websites that send you an item that looks nothing like the picture, but I can assure you it is nothing like that!
These are just a few of the outfits I got.
Boohoo.com has been having 50% off sales pretty much every day! I thought they only had the sale going on for Memorial Day weekend, but I have checked back on the site since, and it has said 50% off every single time! Now let me tell you a little secret… at the top of the site, it has a countdown until “the sale ends”, but it actually just starts again. The countdown widget is a marketing scheme to get you to buy their apparel faster making you think you won’t get the sale if you don’t make the purchase fast enough. SO DON’T RUSH!
The only other setback is that I think the warehouse is in UK, so even though my shipping said 5 days, it took about 10! So if you’re shopping for a specific event coming up soon, I recommend paying for the faster shipping or just buying way in advanced. I personally don’t mind waiting an extra 5 days because it is worth the wait- at least it isn’t a month like some other sites!
Overall, the quality of these clothes are unbeatable for the price, that is if you get it with the discount!
I have collected a few items over the past month and wanted to share them with y’all! MOST IMPORTANTLY this month I discovered FashionNova.com! They always have discount codes if you’re following their Instagram and their clothes are already really affordable! As you guys might know, I am obsessing over bodysuits right now

I have always been a fan of Instagram themes, but only on other peoples’ feeds. I found it difficult to stick to, especially when your everyday routine is always changing. I found that if you use similar filters it gives the same effect of a theme instead of always having a white background or always having a little bit of green in your picture. I always refer to my theme as “VSCO-y College Girl”. Many college girls are in the same boat as me, they want to have an awesome Instagram feed, but don’t have the time to make it extremely consistent.
I filmed a video talking about how I edit my pictures and what cameras I use to take them. I also talked about some of my favorite applications that I use on a day to day basis.
One question that I get asked quite frequently has been “What camera did you use to take this picture?” It’s not always a different camera that I use, I usually switch up the lenses! I want to go through some of my Instagram pictures and just let you guys know which camera and lens I used so that you can check out the equipment if interested!

This weekend I attended my uncle’s wedding in Houston, TX! On Friday they had a traditional Sikh ceremony and then on Saturday they had a Catholic wedding and a reception after it. The reception was held at Silver Street Studios, it was a warehouse in the middle of nowhere, but had the most amazing view of the skyline! Unfortunately I did not take many pictures of the place, but I did want to share some of these pictures over those days. I always feel like an Indian princess when I am able to dress up! We got both of my outfits in India when I went two years ago.
Just as I was getting settled back at school, Big Little Reveal hit and it was chaos again! We found out who our littles were the Friday before the reveal week so we could start crafting right away.
My first step was, of course, to go on Pinterest and get some inspiration for her crafts. In my sorority we give them a specific craft each day.
- Picture Board/ Bulletin Board
- Family Poem
When searching for material to use for DIYS, I recommend going to the dollar store and Walmart before going to any craft store because it is cheaper!
If you want to know how to make these crafts then check out my video!
Whenever I go back to school I always have to get some back up makeup products to stick in my back pack for the school day! I didn’t want to spend too much money on my makeup survival kit, but I still wanted the products to be high quality. I have heard about Essence and even used their eyeshadows for prom makeup looks, but never really got to try their most popular products!
I wanted to share these products with you all because the fact that they are affordable and high quality blows my mind!
This is the 2 in 1 eyeliner pen. It has a thin and thick felt tip liner which is convenient because you could use it for a more natural look or a glam look! This reminds me of the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner.
This is the Make Me Brow. This is an exact dupe for Gimme Brow by Benefit, but way cheaper! I love this product for when I don’t have time to fill them in, I just take the spooly and comb it through my brows and it makes them appear fuller.
This is one of their Liquid Lipsticks! It doesn’t dry to a full matte which I personally like because it is not as drying as a lot of other brands!
Essence is conveniently available for purchase at Target.com and select Target stores nationwide! Essence Cosmetics is known for their high-quality products which average to about $3.50 or less. These products are perfect for restocking your makeup bag just in time to go back to school. From everyday basics to wear to class to on-trend colors to rock at formal, essence has everything you need to make this school year even more beautiful!
